Wardrobe Crisis or whatever you call it

Issue 1:
You know when the first time I cleared my wardrobe (wardrobe rehab), I was too hesitate to give everything away! Everything is so precious. Actually it was my first time in 2 years I cleared my wardrobe.

It hit me when I was watching Oprah and she advised that if anything that you have in wardrobe for more than a year which you don't bother to wear it anymore, just give it away. That's what I did. I gave away most of the clothes to relatives. (walaupun dalam hati masih nak simpan baju2 tersebut)

Issue 2:
I have mostly given away all the clothes that I don't want anymore, but still my wardrobe can't fit the rest. The clothes rail (like those in the shop) that I bought to hang my work clothes has snapped into two (can you imagine that!) so I have to hang everything in the wardrobe.

See how cramp the wardrobe is. I can't even flip through the clothes! Oh should I mentioned about my drawers too? I feel like the t-shirts 'beranak dalam laci'. Macam banyak giler baju! tiber je... Where the heck all these clothes come from? ha3 stupid question.

But as far as I am concern, for the past months, I tak lah shopping sangat. I showed my mom the problem and she was like , "I think it's going to explode"expression! ha3 very funny.

Solution?

Awatif Haji Abdul Hamid is my best friend since 14 years old. I kenal dia masa belajat kat Sekolah Sri Bestari. Through out the years, we only keep in touch once a year! ha3 She known Kojaq (Mr Husband) since Form 4. Akhirnya sampai jinjang pelamin. Sekarang Awatif menetap di Kulim, Kedah. First time pergi rumah dia, (jauh sungguh) tapi sangat cantik. Semua perkara untuk kenduri kahwin ni dibuat sendiri, dari bunga telur, sirih junjung, hantaran dan bunga tangan. I pergi ke sana pada 18/12 bersama Ibu dan Nadiah. Kira orang kuat untuk majlis lah. Tolong2 lah apa yang patut. Awatif nikah pada 5/12. I tak dapat pergi masa hari nikah sebab ade kenduri lain.
Lepas tu, pada 27/12 pula resepsi belah lelaki kat Sri Damansara.
I jadi pengapit. My parents duduk kat meja utama. Awatif tak bersanding pun, cuma tugasan I masa tu adalah untuk mengiringi pengantin masuk dewan dan bantu masa potong kek. (pakai pedang tau!)

SALAM TAKZIAH

Semalam adalah hari ' berita buruk' buat I. 2 berita kematian I terima. 2 situasi berbeza. Berita kematian pertama I terima adalah mengenai kematian suami kawan sekolah rendah I. Suami dia meninggal (cardiac arrest) pada hari Sabtu lepas semasa dalam perjalanan untuk menunaikan solat subuh. Dalam drama kalau keadaan macam ni, si isteri pasti patah harapan buat seketika. Tapi kite harus yakin dengan qada' dan qadar Allah. Anak arwah baru je umur setahun. Apa yang mampu, I harap kawan I tu tabah menghadapi dugaanNya. Alfatihah buat suami kawan I tu.
Lepas tu pula, I dapat berita, kawan I punya ayah meniggal pagi semalam (sakit tua) .Kawan I ni bekerja kat Dubai bergegas pulang. Memang dia tak sempat jumpa arwah ayah dia sebab arwah dikebumikan lepas Asar semalam. Flight dia sampai dari Dubai pukul 10mlm semalam, lepas tu flight ke Terengganu pukul 6 pagi tadi. Tapi kawan I ada balik mengejut masa raya haji hari tu. I tak lah kenal rapat ayah dia. Tapi yelah, sebagai kawan, dah tentulah kita rasa kehilangan tersebut.

Waktu perkahwinan rakan2 lah baru dapat jumpa semua orang. Ferdhenen Entaba atau nama muslim nya Fardheen. Dia ni orang Pulau Borneo. Kawan masa diploma. Dia nikah pun dgn rakan satu kolej, Sherina. Very cute couple. Reception kat Dewan Komuniti Setapak, Danau Kota. Tak sangka jumpa ramai kawan. Dulu kawan yang nakal2, dah kawin dan ada anak. Macam tak caya pun ada. ha3 Really enjoyed that moment. I tak tunggu sampai habis majlis. Seperti biasalah, pasangan yang sedang hangat bercinta ni pantang ada masa terluang, pasti pergi tengok wayang. ha3... (nanti update pasal wayang ni)

1 year anniversary!

Wah... It has been 1 year. I never realized how fast time flies...let me flashback the story behind the blog.

I started created this blog in 2007. But at that time, I was not that keen, so I just leave it as it is. If I am not mistaken, at that time, Facebook was the IN thing. Most of my time, it was all about FB, until to the extend I never bother with Friendster. ha3 I remembered I persuaded all of my course mate to create a FB account. One thing lead to another... Some of my friends are into blogging. That's when I remembered that I do have a blog. But I was not that 'rajin' to update the blog even on monthly basis! But since everybody has a blog, I decided to start one for my own. I was new to it at that time. But as time fly, I have few blogs that I like to follow, I have ideas on what I want on my blog, changing the layout, etc. I read that it take years for your blog to be known. As for me, I don't mind not having a large number of followers, it is more than enough to have some of blogger friends.
Since then, I was addicted to at least update my blog on weekly basis. If 'rajin' then it will be on daily basis. I know one thing as being a blogger, you need to have interesting topic and not to forget a photo or two for the entry! ha3.. Interesting topic can be very subjective, it may be interesting to me but not to the readers. So it is up to the readers to define the topic.
So far, I really enjoy blogging. What I see, what I think, how I feel, what I am doing...everything is in the blog. But there is a limit to it.
So to those who are reading my blog and becoming my followers, THANK YOU! And I do have few blogs that I follow too!

Hujung Minggu

Apa korang buat masa cuti panjang 25-27 Dec? Bosan kan... Jumaat tu, I pergi PKNS Shah Alam nak cari baju pengapit for my best friend's wedding on Sun. Lepas sembahyang Jumaat, cadang nak pergi tengok wayang kat MV, tapi tempat parking semua full. Lepas tu pergi Sunway, sama gak! Giler jem! Ramai orang! Mana datang diorg ni semua? ha3 Jadi si dia dan I pergi jalan2 kat Tropicana City Mall.

Kat sana pun ada GSC. Nak beratur beli tiket pun panjang. Jadi kami jalan2 je kat sana. Tempat baru kan. Si dia kate nak duduk kat kondo belakang Mall ni, dengan alasan senang nak pergi GSC! (sungguh comel) I rasa Mall ni banyak tempat makan. Kebetulan HangTen ade 70% off, I beli sehelai t-shirt (tu je yang berkenan), si dia lak beli baju kemeja (ala2 kasanova gitu) ha3.. Masa 'tawaf' Mall ni, I ternampak satu kafe ni... Sangat terkejut tapi kelakar!

Festive Mood

I am sure everybody out there is so in the holiday mood..Christmas is just around the corner, then it is New Year! Every year since young, 25 Dec is the most sought after date for me. When I was young, I grew up in the States, Christmas celebration has been part of my life, especially the changing gifts, and decorating the Christmas tree.(it's not that we celebrate like it is meant to be, it's more like friends get together and the kid get pressie from the adults) I wish I can dig out the boxes that contain all the photos when I was in the States..too much hassle..ha3. When I came back to Malaysia, we no longer doing all that. (nak kena marah ke dengan nenek?)

I am not sure about you, but when I was young I do read Dr Seuss books (besides Enid Blyton). Some of his books has been transforms into a movie. I can't remember when I watch this movie. My all time favorite was How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

As usual, there will always be a lesson behind every story by Dr Seuss. Tak pernah tengok, pergilah cari dvd.
But for me, Christmas is extra special if there is snow. I love snow. I missed the feeling of touching snow, wearing those thick coat, layered shirts, gloves, boot, hat, etc. (OK I will have to dig the box)
Every year I will try not to miss going to shopping complexes to see the decoration for Christmas. It is so beautiful plus the lighting effect makes every thing looks perfect!

My point for blogging about Christmas is... I like few Christmas songs. When I was in Music Club (during school), I learn few songs such as Rudolph the read nose reindeer, Merry Christmas, Jiggle Bells, Deck the halls, to name a few. Then Christmas songs (like Hari Raya songs) has been commercialized and new.. I like the one from Mariah Carey, All I want for Christmas is you.
I like the Grinch's theme song, Where are you Christmas by Faith Hill.

I was supposed to blog this entry yesterday. Never mind then. Yesterday my colleague hand over a package, for me. I was surprised! As far as I am concern, I didn't order anything from anybody. I examined the package in detail to look for any contact but there was none. The only identification was this..

Royal Mail..Postage paid..UK. The first thing that crossed my mind was AIDA. I bought a Tie rack scarf from her few months back. Actually we were supposed to meet up at Melaka during Hari Raya but both of us totally forgot about it. This gift was for the lucky draw in her blog, but due to some mistake made by me, I tak lah menang. he3....

22-25 November 2009

Masa ni Busu menghadiri International Conference on Teaching & Learning in Higher Education 2009.
I teman dia kat The Legend sepanjang tarikh tersebut. Bagaikan puteri raja rasanya. Ha3 Poyo eh. Busu ada buat research mengenai 'A case study on Mathematics Anxiety for MAthematics for Finance Course'. I baca laporan dia. Surprisingly female students have more anxiety then male students. Menarik sungguh jadi lecturer ni. Busu I ni adalah seorang Finance Lecturer kat UiTM Segamat. Masa Isnin, 23/11/2009 ada opening ceremony. Menteri di Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi datang merasmikan confrence tersebut. I join masa dinner ceremony ni. Dapat makan free, pastilah I pergi. Jumpalah ramai cendiakawan2 dari serata tempat. Ada dari dalam negara dan juga luar negara. Menurut Busu, rata2 yang datang ni adalah mereka yang buat presentation dan ada juga sebagai pemerhati. Boleh tahan juga kajian2 yang dibentangkan. Sekarang ni, Busu tengah buat kajian mengenai Forensic Accounting pula.
Bila tengok Busu macam ni, terfikir juga nak jadi pensyarah. ha3.. Tapi I rasa I bukanlah seorang yang berjiwa sabar, apatah lagi nak mengajar. ha3 Tapi Busu kata jadi pensyarah ni bukan macam keje dekat pejabat, masuk pukul 9 balik pukul 6. Jadi pensyarah ni, memang tak ada rehat. Habis mengajar, nak fikir banyak benda, dalam masa yang sama nak kena buat kajian juga.
Ntah.. ada ke hati I nak jadi pensyarah?

Makanan Pelik, tapi benar...

Ingat tak dari 22-25 Nov lepas I ade entry pasal I stay kat Legend Hotel? Nanti I cerita lebih lanjut apa I buat kat sana. Tapi ni nak tulis pasal makanan. (alamak tiba2 lapar). Maklang sekeluarga, I dan Busu pergi Cozy Corner dekat Ampang Park. Busu perkenalkan makanan pelik ni kat I. Namanya ESCARGOT BOURGUIGNON (dalam bahasa arab dipanggil HALAZUN). Ia adalah sejenis siput (babi). Kalo korang google, pasti boleh dapat info pasal siput ni. Ada juga blog pasal pengalaman makan siput ni. Kalo kat sesetengah negara Arab, siput ni dimasak sebagai sup. Tapi yang I makan ni ia dimasak dengan cream. Lazat! Kalo ikut mazhab syafie, ia adalah haram, tapi mazhab lain tak haram. I tak nak komen lebih lanjut.

It was Hafiz's wedding (groom's side) at Taman Bakti. Went to Bobi's place around 12.30pm. Both of us was so hungry! Waited for Zan to fetch Bobi and family. We reached the reception around 2pm. So hungry! Met Rahman, Shirin, Am and Khair. We lepak for awhile... Lama tak jumpa diorang semua. I didnt realized my memory card was full already. So the photo with the bride and the groom was at Shirin and Khair's camera...Around 3.30pm we made a move. I looked like going to rain.
Then si dia and I went to The Gardens, as usual watch movie. parking was full. But we managed to find one. Went to GSC and bought tickets for 5.05pm show.

Lambat sikit nak tengok, tapi I sangat puas hati! Lagilah tengok dengan si dia! ha3. Show ends at 7.15pm. Went to McDonalds PJ, makan Prosperity Burger!

Siblings Day Out

Well, well.... It has been sometime we had this day out. Since working and studying, every spare time I will make sure I bring my siblings to anywhere they like. Since it is a school holidays, last Saturday (5/12/2009) I brought my siblings to watch movie and planned to go bowling. But we didn't managed to bowl because the waiting list is too long. So decided to go some other time.

The only cartoon that was available that weekend.

Had ice cream

9am--get ready
10.00am--had breakfast at Mamak near our place
10.45am--went to The Store near our place, because Baby got no 'nice' sandal.
11.15am--turn back to fetch Hafriz (tall bro)
11.45am--reached One Utama, headed to TGV to collect tickets
11.55am--Hafriz belanja Ice cream!
12.15pm--Jalan2. Survey toys for them.
1.45pm--Show starts
3.30pm--Show ends, went to bowling centre at 1U new wing
4.00pm--Headed back home...the waiting list was too long.
4.30pm--had late lunch near our place
5.15pm--reached home!


p/s: planning to bring them bowling tomorrow... see first lah!

where is my memory

I realized that I kept forgetting stuffs lately. Like for example yesterday, I thought I lost my car key & my car has been stolen while actually I didn't even drive to work! Few months back, I forgot what is my pin number until the card has been blocked! Most recent accident (just now) I forgot how to operate the fax machine. I am not making this up. It's true. Slowly my memory is slipping away and I can't remember things. It is very frustrating because I know about all the facts /stuffs but I just can't remember it. Probably it's just a glitch of memory like you forget to apply your deodorant after shower (yeah, happened to me few times). But I don't think so. So I did a research over the net and found out very useful information that may curb the memory loss.

Probably due to depression? dementia? side effect of drugs? strokes? head injury? Oh my GOD. I told my mom about it yesterday, and she asked me to buy raisins. Yeah RAISINS. OK I remembered eating raisins during the exam period. si dia suggested that I see a doctor. OK I will do both. And besides that there is a website on memory test. Frustrating. Pening kepala!

Kin buzz me this morning. Sejak ibu mengandung ni tengah loya-loya, asyik mc je I tengok. ha3 kesian dia... tulah kan pengorbanan seorang wanita. Kin kasi video ni. Katenya dia godek2 dan terjumpa. AND IT WAS HILARIOUS! Korang tengoklah sendiri.. BURUK betul perangai anak dara dua orang ni! Tak ingat bila video ni diambil, tapi rasanya setahun dua yang lepas...

Hobby

Lately I am so addicted to reading. Since graduated few months back, every night seems so dull. I prefer to read than to watch TV. I am not that keen to watch TV. I don't know why. Probably the way my parents brought me up, watching TV was only allowed on Fri till Sat, & Sun up to 6pm. I think now, I can open a mini library. I have so many books at home. Even my dad borrowed mine especially from Jeffry Archer & John Grisham. The other day, I went 'book' shopping. Since there was an offer @ Popular, it was a bargain--2nd @50% off. Since I've read My Best Friend's Girl from Dorothy Koomson, I became hooked with her writing. Cerita dia semua memang menyentuh perasaan. Masa baca My Best Friend's Girl tu pun, I dah leleh air mata. Tu baru 1st page tau! ha3...

So the other day I bought this....

Hari ni genap lagi seminggu si dia akan balik dari INDUKSI. hu2.. Raya Aidiladha ni si dia duduk kat sana sebab kemudahan pengangkutan hanya disediakan sampai ke pekan sabak bernam. Dari sana, si dia kena pula nak ambil bas untuk ke KL. Makan masa. Jadi si dia buat keputusan untuk duduk di sana dan mengganti segala waktu tidur yang tertunggak! ha3.
Tiber lak sejak berdua, diri ni tak geti nak berdikari. I mean in some ways, there are things that I am so used doing with him, but doing it without him, is so different and tak best!

4 days 3 nights stay

The key to my room

I am just so happy being invited by my auntie to accompany her since yesterday. hu3 Best giler... macam orang kaya lak rasa. The hotel to my office only take 15mins (ikut Bukit Tuanku)
Malam ni nak buat ape ek? Kalo tak hujan I ingat nak pergi swimming pool. Tapi my aunt ajak pergi opening ceremony of the conference she is attending. Caya tak I bawa luggage, ala2 macam I yang pergi conference (biasalah I, even balik kampung pun kalo boleh nak bawa satu almari). Pagi tadi bangun (arrghh keje lah pulak) siap2 around 7 went down for breakfast. Ramai juga orang sebab ade banyak function berlaku serentak sepanjang minggu ni. My auntie dapat level 5 tertinggi. Which is a smoking level. Uwekkk! Masuk2 je dah bau macam kat karaoke room. (which reminds me I dah lama tak pergi melalak) Her room has been upgraded to apartment suite. Besar giler...siap ade mini kitchen with fridge, microwave and sink.
The Mall is just next to it. mmm shopping pun best gak kan? haha...

aku bengang betul! dah kate aku ni handle administrative matters (selain accounts and payroll) boleh tak korang ni dengar cakap aku? kalo korang pandai sangat, korang buatlah sendiri kan? semua nak tunjuk pandai. aku ni penat2lah cari maklumat pasal software license, belajar apa tu networking (kalo ade problem at least tak payahlah call IT personnel datang), itu ini.(pasal hal2 computer). banyak tau aku belajar. tapi masing2 nak tunjuk pandai. kalo macam tu korang buat semua sendiri! aku tak nak tau!
pernah dulu company lama aku kena denda masa audit software. giler mahal beb sebab masa tu company konon nak jimat kos, install pirated software, dan kalo beli original pun single license install kat multiple pc. salah management. IT personnel aku pun dah advice macam-macam kat aku. so bila aku turunkan ilmu kat kawan2 opis, ade gak nak memandai.
pagi2 bikin hati gua kepanasan. HARI NI JUMAAT! hari senang lenang. bukan hari menyakitkan hati aku!

I came across this article on msn life & style... Pink it's my new obsession. The word that I would like to highlight is "shop till you drop for everything's under RM100". Am I outdated? I didn't realize about the existence of Pink Evil’s Fashion Supermarket. But who cares. Me like what me see. ha2... Nanti I nak pergi survey!

Urkk!

Besides karaoke-ing, holidaying,shopping,or doing nothing, my best friend n I likes to eat. One of the must have is Japanese food. We are a crazy Malays who just loves raw food n unique taste. We didn't get back to our monthly meeting since after raya. Today's meeting was coincident.

Stress Ball

This is MINE! When every time I feel stress up with work, I'll just squeeze this (soft) ball. It help to release some of the negative vibes. Sometimes when I am mad with some one, I'll just imagine that this ball is them n give a very angered squeezed. Ha3

few things

1. I was on MC yesterday. If in 3 days time still having this sore joints, need to do blood test. (I am a bit week due to the cold weather)
2. Paid my phone bill yesterday at one of the kiosk (excessive internet usage). I took out my CC to make the payment, but the guy click on CASH! And he asked me whether I can pay with cash or not. (Customer is always RIGHT) so I said, no i don't have the cash NOW! It seems that the CC terminal was down, so I waited for them to sort this mess. Luckily after 10 minutes waiting, the payment was accepted via CC.
3. Some of my friends are still calling me at the old number. KO FAHAM KE TAK HA? I've send sms notifying you about it. Malas I nak layan. (emo!)
4. Raya Haji is next week. si dia tak balik. mmm I lak HARUS balik kampung.... kesian kat si dia, sepanjang INDUKSI, tak cukup rehat katenya.
5. Every weekends in DEC, banyak wedding to attend!
6. Rindu kat kawan2 belajar...

p/s: office depan ni tgh buat renovation.. I dah mabuk bau cat and thinner n syelek! (betul ke eja ni?)

ThIS FrIENd

I am a bit frustrated with this particular friend of mine. I've been sharing stuffs with this friend all this while, and when I told this friend that I wanted to apply for my license, this friend made a negative remarks about it. At first I was ok, but then when this friend kept demotivating me, I felt very mad. This friend was not 'warm' when I called. I sensed that this friend doesn't want to talk to me. But this friend didn't said so. I wanted to talk to this friend to change opinion and to get this friend's word of encouragement. But in the end I was frustrated.
So I deleted my previous entry on the PLAN. I told Rahman, I don't give a damn towards this friend. Yelah I ni siapa, dia tu siapa. I don't need this kind of friend in my life. Yes, you are still my friend but just a normal friend, whereby I don't want to give a shit about your life...ANYMORE.
I was hoping this friend gave me all the support that I need, but in return I don't care. I don't need your support or your concern. Sungguh berlagak ayat2 ko semalam.

1. i am so lazy since last friday because i have completed my reports (but i still got work to do)
2. really missing the life i had for the past 4 years (student life)
3. i haven't been to the gym for 10 months now (paying for nothing)
4. i've changed my hp no. to the old no. (yes!)
5. i don't like my car (i am planning to buy a new one)
6. the raining season makes me lazy! (not sure what is the connection but it's true)
7. have trouble of thinking what to eat for lunch EVERYDAY! (yeah..eaten this, been there..need more restaurants @ mont kiara)
8. just can't wait for dec because....there are HOLIDAYS every week! (huhu)
9. i am applying for chartered accountant! (insya allah)
10. what? it's only 5.15pm? ~x(
