What is RON 95?

I have been loyal with Petronas product. Previously was with Shell, but then I changed due to:
@ Shell, if you used credit card for your petrol, you are not eligible for bonuslink points! (it was few years back)
So when I started using Petronas, I can collect Kad Mesra points. Ala takat suka2. So yesterday when I wanted to fill up my car tank, I was so suprise to see the 'petrol gun' was in yellow color, which indicated RON 95. What the heck is RON 95? I do heard about it before. But I was not sure that it is being implemented that soon. I was a bit hesited yesterday to fill up my car, but then the indicator already showed E, nak tak nak kenalah isi. Masa tu tawakal je. ha3
So I browsed Petronas website to find outmore about RON 95.

Then earlier today I received an email from my friend, about can and can't for RON 95. Basically RON 95 is RM0.05 cheaper then RON 97 (RM1.80) and not all cars can use it. Tapi kereta buatan Malaysia semua boleh! For me the cheaper the better, but what is so special about RON 95? A Friction Modifier protects engine components, while a Combustion Improver enhances overall engine efficiency. Detergents are also added to the fuel to clean and prevent the build-up of deposits that degrade engine performance. (courtesy from Petronas)

Birthday Wish

Sibuknya Puan Kin tengah arrange sitting @ Pavillion

Today is one of Geng Emo's birthday. Her name is Nurul Asyikin Mohd Radzuan (or also known as Mrs Zaffy Adly). She is 26 today. Kin ni was my very first friend masa I mula2 masuk buat part time degree. I sat next to her in our very first class. Masa tu class Statistic. Bila dah settled down, I pun pusing ke kanan I and introduced myself.
"Hi, nama I Naimatul. Panggil je Naimah"
Kin: Hi, I Syikin.

So since that moment onwards, we were the closest friend ever. Almaklumlah masa tu 'budak baru' masih takut2 and malu2.ha3 Kebetulan Kin was staying at Kota Damansara at that time, so senanglah kalo nak ambil notes ke, pergi class sama ke. Banyaklah kenangan manis dalam persahabatan kitorang ni. Yang 'paling manis' sampai bersemut was when I became her brides-maid. Her nikah day was on Fri, and kitorang ada final paper on Thursday! I teman Kin tido kat rumah abang Kin, and we studied and feeling nervous together. I ikut dia pergi fitting (few hours before the final). Masa tu I pun debar gak. Sebab yelah nak final! Then kesian kat Kin sebab I boleh nampak dia 'stress'.

I just want to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (I am lost with word) Kin hope you know all the best wishes I am trying to write!

Semalam I buka puasa dgn si dia. lama seh tak jumpa, rasa windu. ha3. Si dia tu kalo lama tak jumpa buat perangai 'mengeyam', nak je kena hempuk! Geram I dibuatnya. Well, it was a last minute plan. Nasib baik lah 'restoren' tu accept reservation. And their customer service is GOOD!

Belum masuk Ramadhan, dah ramai kawan2 plan nak buka puasa sama. Minggu ni je, ada a few invitation, so nanti jelah update ye.

Ramadhan

Alhamdullilah, today is the second day of Ramadhan, 3rd night for terawih. Alhamdullilah, I get the opportunity to perform terawih on the 1st & 2nd night. But today, I tak pergi because...no reason. Yesterday, there was a tazkirah after Isya', the ustaz said, Ramadhan is a holy month, a special month whereby all our prayer & doa' will be accepted (easily), insya allah. Besides, we should aim for the last 10 nights of Ramadhan-the LailatulQadar which is a bonus of a life time of all of us. According to the ustaz, the 'bonus' is 83 years of forgiveness (dulu, kini, selamanya). But he said that, kita umat Muhammad ni terbalik. For the first half of Ramadhan, the mosque will be overflown. And then the last 10 nights of Ramadhan, we are busy for Aidulfitri preparation, in a way we neglect what is important-the special BONUS that ALLAH will give to those who bersujud kepadaNYA.
I bersyukur sangat dapat to perform my fast in this Ramadhan. You know, I am not saying I am a perfect person. But I am just so excited with this Ramadhan, it is like a turning point for the whole new me. Insya allah. I think it has been awhile I didn't not perform terawih or berjemaah. Berjemaah ni lagi banyak pahala dari perform prayers alone.

tertekan

Sejak hari sabtu malam, jiwa I tertekan. Sebab muka ku tetiba tumbuh jerawat halus along the jawline and my dagu and my dahi yang tak pernah cocok botox. arrgghhhh... I think it was due to something I ate during dinner. Well since my mom refrianed me from going out over the weekend, I was 'patah kaki' and 'bosan' melalui hari minggu ku. So on Sat night, I decided to go out for dinner with him. (hati muda ku memberontak, tak g jalan2 pun tak pe, asalkan keluar rumah) So we met at Shah Alam, pergi makan tomyam pot tek kat Restoren Gembira. Since sakit, I have been craving for food yang dah lama I tak makan. Ni baru sakit, nanti kalo mengandung, nasib lah laki I kena carikan. ha2. So Tomyam Pot Tek ni adalah tomyam seafood yang dimasak dalam belanga. Semua jenis makanan laut ade. Since si dia ni memang kuat makan, selalu dialah yang tukang habiskan 'sampah sarap' dalam tomyam tuh.
Back to the original story, esok pagi I bangun I tengok muka I tumbuh jerawat halus-halus. I terkejut. I pun ape lagi, ambil twizer, buang semua. Nasib baik halus2 je, so tak perlulah tekan kuat. Then Sunday pun ade lagi. Monday pun ade lagi. Dari jauh memang tak nampak, tapi kalo tengok dekat, memang obvious. Masalahnya, jerawat halus ni buat muka ku mengelupas. So tang dagu and my jaw line was a bit dried and flacky. My dahi, macam kena ruam.
I dah tua pun masih tumbuh jerawat halus2 ni. Sakit jiwa I dibuatnya. Sebab ESOK AKU NAK PERGI INTERVIEW!!! Ibu cakap jangan usik muka tu. Kang lagi teruk. So tiap2 pagi masa cuci muka, I make sure those tiny weeny acne tak timbul, kalo ade je, I akan get rid of it. I think jerawat ni tumbuh sebab the seafood and the medicine (antibiotik) I amik. Aduh! Sekarang baru nak start mkn EPO balik setelah seminggu stop (due to I amik banyak sangat ubat). Si dia lak pesan, jangan sampai rosak muka sudah. I baru je pakai facial product yang baru tu. I memang sangat puas hati. Recommended to those yang ada oily skin. Black/whiteheads pun kurang.

p/s:tak nak stress sangat. kang jerawat ni tak nak hilang pula.

kawanku LAGI kawin

It was a garden wedding concept. Memang cantik. Nasib baik cuaca masa tu terang berjerebu. Kalo tak I wonder how the pengantin will walk down the isle!
Tahniah buat Dr Shikin and husband. Shikin ni my school friend. She is very active in hockey. Lutut dia tu dah berapa kali cedera. Until to the extend she decided to become a physiotherapist.

P/S: Teringat I masa jadi pengapit tahun lepas. Tahun ni tak de lak kawan yang nmemerlukan khidmat I.

Acara yang ditunggu telah tiba!

Pameran Pengantin Malaysia 2009 @ Mid Valley, from 7-9 Aug 2009 (Hall 1)

Day One of the event-I wen t with my colleague. Jalan2 dengan kawan perempuan, senang sikit. Nasib baik taste kitorang sama. Dapat paper bag. Siap 'food testing' lagi tuh!

Day two-pergi dengan si dia. Masa ni paper bag dah habis. So kami diberi sekuntum mawar merah...
Nak tunjuk dia satu baju yg I berkenan sangat. Dia pun kate ok. Tapi tak taulah kalo tahun depan 'taste' I berubah! ha3.

Tetiba nak kena dapatkan figure I macam model balik. ha3 almaklumlah, sekarang alignment dah 'out'. ha2 kena kuruskan bahagian yang sepatutnya.

Kebetulan dekat Hall 3 ada pameran dari Jabatan Hal Ehwal Orang Asli(JHEOA).

Siap ade acara tari menari.(macam poyo nye ayat I ni)
Lepas tu apa lagi, SHOPPING TIME! Masa ni I belum lagi sakit. Tapi batuk mmg teruk. Tak pakai mask sbb masa tu I sangat lemas. So I hanya tutup mulut pakai shawl.

lunch today

I was on MC AGAIN for the past 2 days. I will update about it later. I just want to show what I had for lunch today. Since the past 2 days I barely eat rice, no appetite lah beb. Ke ada orang nak belanja makan lamb chop? hahaha

ta-da! Salmon Porridge. It was recommended by my lovely boss. (ingatkan dia nak belanja) At last, this porridge taste like FOOD. I really enjoyed eating it. So what should I get for dinner then? This porridge cost me RM17. Oh besides that I ordered a mash potato too. (not photo, sorry)

Saje jelah nak kongsi sebab hari ni I malas betul nak kerja. Dulu when there were 4 of us, my dad bought a Toyota Estima. No kereta BET 4700. Warna Maroon. Masa dad bought this car, he fetched us from my younger brother's kindergaten. Naik2 je kete tu, kami 4 beradik berebut nak 'cop' our seat. Once choosen tak boleh ditukar2 and it will remain that way. ha3.. Mula2 I naik I nak duduk seat paling belakang, sebab ape I pun tak tau. Actually lemas tau dok kat belakang sekali. Then I menggunakan kuasa veto I for the next trip, nak duduk single seat. ha2 bukan sebelah pintu tau, the other side belakang driver. Barulah selesa (yelah I ni kan tinggi, kaki panjang, ada lah space untuk merenggangkan otot).

Memory kereta tu banyak.
1. My younger brother called that car Estima-ma! (Masa tu dia susah betul nak bercakap, very shy and kuat nangis) Everytime dia nampak estima warna maroon je, dia panggil 'Estima-ma'!
2. Pernah my auntie from Singapore datang anak beranak (6 orang) and dad brought them out for dinner kat Kg Baru. Naik estima. I satu family (6 of us) + my auntie's family = 12 of us in the estima! My dad and uncle dok depan, my auntie (anak dia yg kecil on her lap) and mom dok the single seaters, my cousins and my siblings dok kat seat belakang, and I dok kat atas bangku my mom bawa! ha2 mcm sardin dah masa tu! tapi kelakar!

Tapi sekarang estima dah canggih. Pintu boleh slide dengan sendiri! BTW estima-ma tu dah jual dah, sebab ada buyer tu berkenan dengan no.plate kete tu.

P/S:Orang dulu2 lagi dasyat, anak 10 boleh naik kete toyota camry model lama tu! cuba bayangkan!

'nyawa' ku tertinggal...

If we look back about 15 years ago, mobile phone is not a necessity at all. Those considered 'rich' may afford to own one. Rasanya dulu semua pasti pernah bergayut kat public phone kan. Siap ade trick kalo nak duit tu last longer. ha3 And do you realize that, dulu tak de teknologi ni, tak pun risau mak bapak kite nak call kite tanya kite kat mana and kalau ade appointment, pelik tau, we be there on time and at the correct place! Masa tu, landline was a hit! Try calling the house phone, pasti engaged memanjang. ha2. Padahal jumpa kat skolah tiap2 hari. Ade je gosip eh! ha3 Then kes paling 'nazak' kalo 'bercinta' kat sekolah. Aduh, memang dasyat. TSiap bergaduh dengan adik-beradik nak pakai telefon. Tali telefon yg kat ganggang tu kan 'curly', korang faham2 jelah, tali tu dibelit-belit kat jari...ha2 siap tergolek kat lantai, ke kiri dan ke kanan, sambil bercakap. Mengada sungguh! ha3 (sapa ada buat macam ni? extreme tau!)

But today, in the millennium era, mobile phone is a need and a necessity. Ia bak 'nyawa'. Sebab semua nombor kawan2 di hujung jari.

I still remembered 15 years ago masa ayah berniaga, masa tu kan NEC was the most popular mobile phone. ala yang kena tarik arial nya panjang sedepa tu.(tak de lak model NEC ni kat web) Besar lah gak, and berat tapi tulah permulaan teknologi dalam kehidupan kami sekeluarga. Selalu nya kalau ada family outing, mobile phone tu kami adik beradik sibuk nak pegang. ha3 bangga tau kalau jalan pegang mobile phone(masa tu lah) Sampai tahap, my mother merajuk dengan my father sebab ayah selalu tanya mobile phone ayah mana? Tak pernah di tanya Ibu mana ke? Semua orang dah naik kereta ke? ha3 (masa tu there were only 3 of us, my younger brother selalu kena tinggal dengan bibik) ha3.

Tak kira apa model handphone kite pakai, or line ape kite pilih, semua nya memang satu perubahan mendadak dalam kehidupan seharian. Orang tua pun pakai hp, budak tadika pun ada hp (silap2 lagi canggih dari kite punya) Tapi itulah. Bila dah terlampau canggih, we rely too much on it! Like today, when I left my 2 mobile phones at home, I felt 'disconnected' and 'worried' and 'life-less' and oh my friend called it 'OKU-orang kurang upaya'. Sayang sorry to say this, but I tak inagt apa nombor you! Sampai kena 'buzz' Wak on YM to ask for your number, and borrowed my colleague's mobile phone to sms to him! The best part was, I only memorize my clossest friends number especially Geng EMO, my best friend and few more numbers (my mom and dad's, of course)

P/S: Pasti ada yang tersenyum baca entry ni!

good news indeed

Last 2 weeks, si dia received an offer letter to 'berkhidmat untuk negara', I mean working in the government sector. He immediately tendered within 1 week notice given at UKM.
The Lapor Diri was on 3/8/2009. Out of 160 offers sent out, only 130 came, out of it only 20 male's applicants. To make things worst, male's applicant who is single will be posted outside KL/Selangor area. I was down for the past few days because of the uncertainty of his posting.
Then si dia sms-ed me this morning. He already knew which agency he is working for but not sure WHERE. I browsed for that agency and find out the probable places that they might sent him to. Most of the agency's branches are at town area, not some remote places.
I doa that he will get posted in KL/Selangor area and was hoping Putrajaya. So PUTRAJAYA it is!
Now I can do my work. ♥☺

Lepas ni ape pula? I ni tengah dok fikir nak pakai baju apa, sutera batik ke, kebaya ke? Fashion macam mana? Kasut apa nak pakai? Make up? Nak overnight kat Intekma ke? Banyaklah benda nak fikir. ha3

Herbal Remedy

Never come across my mind that I should be investing in supplements/herbal remedies. When I was still schooling, my dad bought me Vit C and Cod Liver Oil-Scott's Emulsion (orange flavor-my fav). But then when I was in University, I stop taking it.

Then after long consideration (after finding facts about woman's health), I decided to take Evening Primrose Oil. There are a lot of brands in the market, but I choose the one from Safwa (http://www.safwahealth.com/index.php) because of the HALAL logo. It is from Australia, and the capsules are made from veggie. It's not that expensive for 90 vegicaps, if I am not mistaken about RM30++(tak sampai RM40 pun).

I have been eying this product since the past 2 months. I thought I wanted to give it a try, but I was a bit hesitate. Entah macam mana, last Friday, while waiting for Atie (our monthly meet up), I went to BodyShop. My intuition tells me to buy the travel pack (cost RM79) but the saleslady persuade me to buy the set (consists of Cleanser, Toner and Moisturizer, cost RM99), which can last up to 6months. Actually I wanted to give it a try first. Then after reconsidering the offer, I bought the RM99 + Sunblock (a must, RM59) and a blemish stick (RM33). According to the saleslady, I may return it within 1 week if I feel unsatisfied with the product.
So, on the same night before going to bed, I washed my face with the cleanser. I was speechless. I have been trying lots of products for Oily Skin, but this particular cleanser is like MAGIC! I saw my pores tighten and I felt FRESH! (skII pun kalah beb)

I wiped my face dry to swipe the toner. And another MAGIC! It's like a second coat of cleansing, except that this time it removes excess traces of make up, etc.

After toner, I applied this, it easily absorbed by the skin. My skin feels fresh, clean, soft, supple, and even matte.(curi ayat dari bodyshop) But it's true!
Then in the morning, I pakai the sunblock. This is the first time I knew an Combination/Oily Skin's product include Sunblock which is meant for oily/combination skin.

So my comment after 3 days using it: MY FACE IS LESS OILY!

I don't think I need to return it back! And the next time around, I will buy the clay mask, scrub and the night cream.
