jumpa doktor

kesian I, susah betul nak tido malam tadi, tekak perit betul, kebetulan hidung tersumbat. jadi pagi ni I pergi lah jumpa doktor. habis plan hari ni nak kuar dating. nasib baik I tak demam, cuma selsema and sakit tekak. jadi doktor kasilah ubat selsema, ubat sakit tekak(hisap,) antibiotik dan ubat kumur. ubat selsema tu mengantuk, tapi ni mata I masih celik, jap lagilah nak melelap kan mata. nak tengok hasil tanaman kat facebook jap. macam best je.
nak tau benda kelakar. semalam dah lah susah nak telan air liur masa tido, I pun amiklah lozenges (ibu nye) hisap sambil tido.
doktor tergelak dengar pengakuan I. dia kate ubat ni mengebaskan tekak dan menghilangkan rasa sakit tekak. I jawab I suka. sbb I sukar nak telan air liur masa tido. doktor kate, jangan makan banyak sangat masa berjaga sebab nanti I tak dapat rasa makanan. hi3. kebetulan semalam 'lunch' I makan sup je. doktor pun nasihatkan makan benda lembik2, sebab tekak I memang tengah bengkak. minum air suam memang tak sedap. nasib baiklah I ni jenis tak minum air sejuk. alhamdullilah I tak batuk. doktor pun terkejut. selalu sakit tekak pasti akan batuk.

Friday

bosan semalam. atie tak de (pergi bandunglah-I sepatutnya ikut dia ape), kebetulan I tak berapa sihat. sakitnya tekak ku. semalam baru je masuk offic. ada 'briefing' hari khamis. officemate pula selsema. aduh. I dahlah tengah sakit tekak, dia lak selsema, memang sesuailah sangat. secara tak langsung, I pun kena selsema. dahlah keje banyak. bos nak report untuk meeting hari isnin. tak buat lagi. urrgghhh...

kebetulan atie tak de, khang weei sahabat ku masa sekolah 'buzz' ajak pergi dinner and shopping. melonjak kegembiraan aku. tapi apakan daya, dah selsema and sakit tekak, terpaksalah I menolak 'offer' dia. kesian dia. bosan katanya. baru balik dari china. sekarang jadi penganggur terkenal, sambil menjalankan perniagaan nya dari rumah.

ni lah khang weei. dia ni sentiasa menyalahkan dirinya sebab sampai sekarang tak dapat cari teman! ha3. kesian kat dia. kalo ade sesiapa ayang da kawan2 bangsa cina beragama kristian, tolonglah kenalkan kat dia. setiap kali kalo dia telefon, pasti menceritakan nasib diri dia yang 'malang'. I suka dengan khang weei ni. sejak meninggalkan sekolah sri bestari, dia lah antara kawan yang selalu 'keep in touch' dengan I. kitorg pernah pergi prom bersama. ha3. lagi satu sampai sekarang, khang weei ni, memang seorg sahabat yg 'reliable'. dulu sebelum dengan si dia, kitorg selalu kuar bersama, attend office function, atau pergi makan malam. kami suka japanese!

jadi semalam I jadi 'potato couch'. sebelum balik, I tapau 'today's special' kat subway dan hazelnut hot choc starbucks sambil menonton dvd twilight (yang keberapa kali lah). kebetulan I baru je lepas hisap 'lozenges', so senang sikit I nak telan makanan.

TWISTIES lurve

I kept hearing the advertisement on the radio. So the other day, I bought myself twisties LURVE. What is twisties lurve ? It is a healthy multigrain chips, a substitute to junk food. Result--I like the French Onion flavor and OK. But it's quite expensive. I bought it at 7-11, the small pack cost me RM2.70.

My Starbucks Breakfast

Usually my breakfast will be biscuit Jacob/Chicken n cheese puff from delifrance/egg sandwich from Mediya with coffee (a must). Today, I need something else, so I went to Starbucks. It costs me RM6.85 net (the price on the banner is wrong, now it cost RM6.50), the sandwich is minced chicken omelet. Sedap!

Sorry guys, I know it has been a week I did not update my blog. Time constraint and tight up with my works.
Since my car has been sent to teh workshop, I am car-less. Temporarily, I am driving my mother's car to work, and thank god , my dad bawa balik my old car from kampung, for me to use. Bengang juga kete tak siap2 lagi.
I think this month, every single week I ada hal. Either I took leave or away for course. Like last week, I took emergency leave on Wed. Balik kampung jap. The previous week, emergency nak uruskan hal kete, and away for 2 days pergi course. Minggu ni lak, on Thurday I kena attend conference.
Akhirnya, seperti yang digembar-gemburkan, I dah tgk Harry Potter. Wellllll, tak brapa 'kick' arrr. But I menangis giler masa part Dumbledore mati! Geram aku dgn Snape tu! eeiii.. Tak sabar nak tunggu final episode!
Tak lupa juga cite Ice Age. Damn hilarious! Sepanjang movie tu aku tergelak nak pecah perut dibuatnya!

Last Sunday, si dia n I attended 2 kenduri: one in Kajang (his friend) n another one in PD (my friend) Belum kawin lagi dah banyak attend kenduri.. nanti dah kawin tak tau lah macam mana nak accomodate benda2 ni semua. hahaha (verangan--tak pe mentor saya Puan Kin ade leh tunjuk ajar)
As if you do not know me, I ni jalan mana geti bawa kamera! tu lah dia kan. Gambar2 ni semua ikhsan dari mama balqis!
Oh lepas kenduri kat PD, si dia n I pergi Teluk Kemang, merendamkan diri dalam air masin. hahaha.. cuaca on that day sangat sesuai untuk mandi laut. tak payah sapu sunblock. bila jari jemari semua dah kecut, barulah kitorg naik ke darat. hahaha (lagipun hujan renyai) bestlah... nnt plan nk pergi lagi! (tp I tell you, rambut ku sungguh keras bagaikan kasa dawai!)

Labour Law or Makan?

When I started working at KSC, it was like a deja vu. I think this is where my ACTUAL career begins. I am happy with my job because of the pay and the freedom the company gives me. My position is as an Accounts Executive and Administrator. I am solely in-charge with the accounts and payroll. I am not complaining at all about these responsibilities they have given me eventho I work like an octopus BUT I am very happy. There were few times I think I wanted to change my job, but my heart says NO. Rasa berat hati sangat.

On the 8-9 July 2009, I attended a 2 days course on Malaysia Labour Law at Eastin Hotel. Personally, knowing about the law is an eye-opener. I hate reading law, but it is part of my job to have better knowledge about all these acts: FRS, statutory act (EPF, SOCSO and income tax), labour law, Anti Money Laundering Act, etc. You don't have to become a lawyer to know the Act. A survey shows that currently the most highly paid job is as HR. (should I make a carrier change?)

So the course explained on areas/issues relating to employees rights and what are the employers responsibilities. It sounds simple but yet complicated.

And then I learnt something interesting about TRADE UNIONS. At this course, I met a lot of HR having headache with their in-house union. It's funny because unions were set up because employees (those earning below RM1.5k) doesn't trust the HR. They claimed that the HR doesn't favour them. It is interesting to exchange views with all these people.

But what I like most is the FOOD! hahaha. We makan every 3 hrs! (jimat duit belanja aku) Now I have 2nd favourite choice of nice food served at hotels. Eastin's lunch buffet and hi-tea was superb. First choice would always be Paya Serai @ PJ Hilton. (a bit gross when thinking this hotel relates to Paris Hilton) ha3

P/S: Now I am hungry when thinking about all the delicious food I ate for the past 2 days. sedap!

Sorry for the late entry. Yesterday took me the WHOLE day just to settle the accident. I went to the office for awhile yesterday's morning, to settle some work. Around 10 something, I went to the police station to lodge a report. Well since the accident happened in PJ district, (Sg Buloh to be exact), the report needes to be done at Kota Damansara Police Station (Traffic). This is my first time doing it on my own. (2nd accident within a year. the first time, I was accompanied by my dad. this time around, he said let me do it on my own and learn) The police station was located behind the McD/KFC/Pizza Hut. Just a small station. The officer in-charge was very 'garang'. Everytime he asked me a question, it has to be so loud and like guru besar! But actually, he was kind and funny! I think it is around 11 something when I was interviewed by Sarjan Hassan. For insurance claiming purpose, I need to get a copy of the report, so I was asked to go to IPD Petaling at PJ State! I arrived at 1pm. Dahlah parking susah, I parked at 8Avenue (new place) and walked to IPD. The counter only open at 2pm, so I had my lunch first at KFC. Around 1.55pm I berlari ke IPD. Luckily I cepat sampai sana, sebab dari luar I dah nampak ramai orang beratur kat kaunter. Nasib baik diorg tu efisyen, around 2.15pm I dapat copy of my report (kenalah bayar RM2 per copy).

Lepas tu berkejar ke Proton Service Centre at Glenmarie. (My dad was already there waited for me) So lepas isi borang claim semua bagai, kete comel ku dibiarkan di sana. (actually I boleh bawa balik kete tu, tapi sebab I malas nak ulang alik, I decided to leave it there. in the meantime, I requested them service my car). The estimated time for the claim process was 1-2 weeks! Sekarang semua pakai kereta Ibu! urgghhh minyak kete ibu mahal lah! rasa 'patah kaki' n 'mati kutu' tau tak de kete sendiri!

So moral of the story:

1. Walaupun I tak salah dalam hal accident ni, I tak boleh claim dari insuran motosikal tu. Motorcycle's insurance is totally different than motor vehicle's coverage. (I found out that Trailer and bus's too have different concept. so just be careful)

2. Habis NCB insurance aku-since using my insurance!

3. Pada mata orang insurance, kemalangan dengan motosikal tetap salah pemandu kereta (walaupun motorsikal tu yang langgar kereta)

4. Oh polis kate this accident akan keluar paper sebab ada pihak yang tercedera, and trying to identify the other motorcyclist yang langgar the victim)

5. Nak settle semua ni makan masa 1 hari suntuk! Make sure you have all the documents ready!

It happened a moment ago at 8pm when I was driving back from work. The road leading to Bukit Rahman Putra was congested due to the night market being held at Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh. So when I was moving down the flyover, and break, out of sudden something hit my car from behind. I didn't see the rider, but I saw from my view mirror, another motorcycle was balancing himself. I pressed my hazard lights immediately and made my way down the flyover, and stopped by the road side. I was shivering when I waited for the rider, from the road side, I saw few motorcyclists swarming the accident area. I was not so sure what to do at that moment, should I go up to the flyover(risking my life) or wait for him. While waiting, ramai lah pula orang mengorat aku kat tepi jalan. SUngguh muhibah, Cina ada, India ada, Melayu apatah lagi. Then about 15 min later, I saw an ambulance stopped at the accident area. (at that time, i memang panic giler-siap fikir alamak mati ke orang tu. while waiting, I called my mom and my bro, my dad was at surau) I followed the ambulance to Hospital Sg Buloh. I went straight to the emergency ward and searched for the rider. (My mom and bro arrived 10mins later) I managed to locate him, he was fine but his left foot was badly injured. It was because when he hit my car, he tried to balance himself, and another motorcycle langgar his leg and the paddle went straight into his flesh! Nasib baik nurse dah buat dressing kalo tak sure aku pitam tgk kaki dia. I paid for his medical bill, (ala singgit je), my mom took down his particular and everything (macam Inspector Sahab)

So I said to the boy (yes, org muda masih berlesen P) we will settle this once dah jahit kaki tu. Aku pun baliklah.. penat seh. (Tau tak masa tengah stucked in traffic jem tu, I was thinking what to buy at pasar malam)

When I reached home, I re-examined my car again. (hancur hati ku bersama dgn bumper and lampu yg berharga ratusan ringgit) Probably tonight I will be going to the police station to lodge a report. (or tomorrow morning. penat ni.. tunggu ayah balik dari surau)

When I first tried Matt touch -- tada! OIL FREE! I was given a sample, and instantly fell in love with it. So last year, when I wanted to buy it, the Matt Touch was no longer in the market.
So, the beautician introduced me to the substitute.

Well, it cost me RM150. I've been using it for a year now. I like this foundation so much because of the Matt finish. I have a very oily skin especially at the t-zone area, but since using this foundation, it controls the excess oil, conceal imperfections, and illuminate complexion. It is different from other foundation I used before. And this one, even though it's costly, it is worth buying . I just finished using the first tube. RM150 for a year? Technically, it is cheap! (well actually, when I first bought it, I was given 4 small tubes)



I bet all of you know what this is. The MIRACLE WATER or facial treatment essence. I first curi2 pakai my mom's (opps), once I dabbed it onto my face, it felt so refreshing and not to forget the yeast smell. I realized that my complexion do changed in photos (but not sure in real life). I rarely use SK-II range, but I do have the travel set in my gym bag. It only cost RM99 (facial treatment cleanser, facial treatment clear lotion and the miracle water)

Last week my best friend invited me to join her to Bandung. I only need to pay for the flight tickets and my own pocket money. I was so excited with the offer and after taking into consideration of my work load, I agreed. So on last Tue, I browsed AirAsia's website to check for the availability. My best friend's flight is scheduled in the morning and coming back in the evening on the 4th day, so far at that time, the flight cost about RM600++.

To make long story short, within 4 days (since Tue until Sat) the price hiked tremendously. From RM600++ on Tue, it went to RM800++ on Thur and damn it, on Sat, it cost RM1k++. No wonder when I tried to book it online, it was unsuccessful. I was frustrated, heart-broken, semua lah... So untuk mengubati hati yang luka, I went shopping last Sun with si dia. banyak jugalah aku shopping. Since everything was on sale, shop til you drop! hahaha

And today my best friend sms-ed me compensating me a mini holiday to Cameron. Well actually a holiday for me, and work for her. 4 days fully paid trip next weekend. With such as short notice, I haven't make up my mind yet. Still thinking.
